Mode: Screw it!!!

Do you know if feelings ever go away? Will they fade, or are they just hidden within you, waiting for another day to come so it can ruin you when you come to realize that they have not left you? Been there, done that... sure more will come.

I'm so sick of love songs, so tired of tears, so done with wishing you were still here, SAID I'm so sick of love songs, so nice and slow... so why can't I turn off the radio...

I'm turning off the radio. I'm sick of hanging on and thinking that we're friends when we're really not. I'm not helping myself, but I'm helping you get over me. Now, who in their sane mind does that? Who lets themself keep hurting? It's madness. I don't need this bullshit. SO, I'm hating. Forget you.

O Dell...

Original Message Follows:
------------------------
To the Customer CARE Department of either US or Canada:

I have two Case numbers, one is : 134366271, the other 134363347. I was given both today after ONE HOUR of being bounced between Dell service representatives from the US and Canada. I required ONE part for my Inspiron 6000- a new keyboard because they letters on one side of the keyboard were constantly typing themselves, and I could not even get into Windows because it is password protected.

I repeated personal information regarding my address, email address, phone number, name and also my service tag anywhere from 7 to 9 times. Each time I was transferred to another department because the previous one did not refer me to the right one in the right country, or vice versa. I was given 5 different numbers to try- each time it was different.

I believe this is not what an existing customer should go through in order to get a replacement for their dysfunct piece of machinery. I do not believe that I was treated with the respect that I should have been treated with as an existing and loyal customer.

THIS incident has in fact made it VERY Hard for someone such as myself to STAY LOYAL TO DELL. These phone calls I made after a long day of work, totalled 1 hour of wasted time. Please explain to me why I should continue advocating the use of your machines when you do not provide adequate and standard SERVICE to your customers?

Thank you for Choosing Dell

IN RESPONSE to THAT:
Dear Customer Sales REpresentative,

You did not comprehend what my main point was in my previous email (the email is below). I was complaining about the SERVICE. The fact that I was transferred 7-9 times and the fact that I wasted 60 minutes just to get to the right parts department for the right country was the issue here. Yes, the keyboard is malfunctioning. If you would like to know, I did contact your technicians. They gave me the wrong number for the wrong country to call for the PART that I needed. I suggest you pay attention to what your customers are really concerned about, and are frustrated about.

Thank you, you have just lost a paying customer.

Mode: Ragey

Came home so early after work today. I needed to make a couple phone calls so I started off with Dell. My laptop keyboard has been out of commission for quite a bit now and whenever I called the parts department was closed. This time it was open (surprise surprise!) .

Unfortunately for me, however, I was given the number for US customers. I was transferred and once again was asked the usual, Your name, Your address, Postal Code, Email address and phone number. I was then told that this was not the department that I should be talking to, and was given another number to call. I called, repeated all the above information for the 3rd time, and then was told that this line was only for US customers. By now I was pretty mad but I was good, I contained myself. When I was transferred again I had to repeat the information and then she told me that this was ALSO not the department that I should be talking to ... and I LOST IT. I was so angry I was shaking (by now I'd been transferred and asked the same questions and put on hold for about 40 mins). I SCREAMED at the poor girl on the phone for a good 5 mins and told her that I'd been on the phone for 40 mins, and that all I needed was ONE part. But somehow, I kept on being transferred from US to Canadian serving operators and was being bounced between them when all I wanted was ONE PART and the RIGHT country. I said very clearly then, "You are making it VERY hard for me, an EXISTING customer to STAY LOYAL to YOUR COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The poor girl apologized (as did I, but I was still angry cuz they were all collectively losers and was wasting MY TIME). She then bounced me onto someone else, who bounced me onto someone else......... someone else.... same information being asked and then transferred until I got to the parts department. However, I still have not ordered the keyboard, cuz you know what, Michael Dell is charging me $174 for the keyboard. I seriously contemplate calling the place/emailing them back and saying, "you know what, my CASE was NOT solved, your service sucks and you can TELL Michael Dell FOR ME!" AS for the keyboard, I can get it off E-bay, you money sucking bastard! Total time wasted: 1 HOUR. Of my TIME after work when it was so gorgeous out. Then I called my ex-landlord in my rage and asked for my interest.

All-in-all, a very ragey day. Thought I'd share it with you :)

Wow.... never noticed how beautiful these lyrics are!!! :)

Everytime We Touch

I still hear your voice, when you sleep next to me.
I still feel your touch in my dreams.
Forgive me my weakness, but I don't know why.
Without you it's hard to survive.

'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling.
And everytime we kiss I swear I can fly.
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last.
I need you by my side.
'Cause everytime we touch, I feel this static.
And everytime we kiss, I reach for the sky.
Can't you feel my heart beat so
I can't let you go.
I want you in my life.

Your arms are my castle, your heart is my sky.
They wipe away tears that I cry.
The good and the bad times, we've been through them all.
You make me rise when I fall.

'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling.
And everytime we kiss I swear I can fly.
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last.
I need you by my side

'Cause everytime we touch, I feel this static.
And everytime we kiss, I reach for the sky.
Can't you feel my heart beat so
I can't let you go.
I want you in my life

Blast @ Beach Blast :P and a very boring 1st day!

I had an awesome weekend! I wish I had pics to show, but wow I prolly wasn't able to hold up a camera in my state(s) anyway. Well u all know about Philthy's; then Sunday some of us went to play beach volleyball at Beach Blakst. First off, Matt was REALLY LATE (surprise, surprise) and Ryan and I waited and waited at Ryan's place. Then Matt told me to drive in the wrong direction (despite what it said on the instructions from Lauren) and then Ryan stopped paying attention to the road and we ended up driving past the intersection where we were supposed to turn. It was an ADVENTURE, let me tell you., There was a lot of yelling involved (from everyone in my van) and a lot of talk about Ryan needing to change in the car while Matt offered to punch him for me so he'd b quiet. Then there was Matt hollering: "Ryan get out of the front seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Cuz Ryan wasn't paying attention to where we were going and we were missing the street); and Ryan: "No, I'm fine, I'm fine up here!" It was CRAZY. I don't know how I survived that. Volleyball however, was soooo awesome and I had such a great time! I got really really tired after an hour, but it was so great! I am still sore from it today, but it's all good! Afterwards the boys and I went to get some chinese food @ Congee Wong.

Today was the first day of work! It wasn't all that fun. HR personnel allotted 3 hours for the signing of papers and such. Wow, eh? I was surprised myself. Anyways, there were 8 students including myself, so I'm sure we'll have a good time going out for lunch and bugging each other when we have no work to do (which I'm convinced will b the case for most of the summer). The girl that was assigned to the IT help desk was told by her supervisor that she'd have 5 calls (on a good day) and respond to a couple emails a day [things like: there's no toilet paper in the men's washroom on the 17th floor] & dispatch cleaning staff. That's HER JOB. For the WHOLE SUMMER. WHAT IS THAT??? WOW. That's all I could say to that! And here I am, wanting to be busy @ work. *sigh*

I'm going to buy a book to read at work. O..... and get this: Casual dress code pretty much means: wear whatever you want. So I guess I don't have to buy new work clothes now either????! o-o

Awesome niteeeeeeee!

OMG tonite was by far, the best nite I've had since I've been home. Don't get me wrong- every nite is great here, but my my tonite topped it all. Ryan, Walid, Matt, Jess, Eric, Lauren, Danielle, Shannon, Jordy, Kelly and I were all there at Philthy McNasty's in Toronto and it was awesome. I had about 4 glasses of beer and I am still drunk off my rocker. I can't believe I am typing still.

Anyways, the point was: it was an awesome nite, I love my friends, and BEER IS DANGEROUS (for little Asians like myself).

Sidenote: Ryan u owe me money cuz I remember we made a bet and I remember my drunken stories, etc etc. Pay up!!!!!!!!!

The beauty of home

I've been home from Waterloo for a week - it's been lovely! Home heals pain and time is easily spent on happy things such as shopping and get togethers w/ friends. I went shopping w/ Dani the other day and bought so many things - stuff from La Senza, a pair of jeans & a skirt (it's SO CUTE). I almost got a new bikini but that I'll get AFTER my first paychk of the summer. It's a really nice hot blue bikini - perfect for... sitting in my closet cuz I'll prolly wear it twice this summer!!! hahahaa! I've been going to the gym w/ my sister. It's been fun !!! (gymaholic over here talkin')

Last nite I had a pizza party at my place and everyone who was home from uni came!!! :) I bought a veggie platter, chips & strawberries for appetizers and Brendan and I also made a cheesecake w/ my magic bullet!!! It was awesome and it tasted good :) Jess and Dani also made a fantastic cake and Lali bought ice cream. Everyone's going away this summer/working so I organized this the first chance I got! I had lotsa fun!!! Seems like everyone did too :)

Hopefully this summer will b filled w/ get togethers @ Tim's, pool parties, camp trips, beach trips & CLUBBING trips as well as golf. YES I am learning how to play golf this summer. I'm starting work Monday! I'm semi excited; semi nervous, BUT I'll let u all know how it goes :D
